Jefferson Clinton Hotel

Historical restoration
Before the Jefferson Clinton was Syracuse’s premier downtown hotel, it had been taken over by the city for nonpayment of taxes and sat vacant for ten years. Today it is the most successful boutique hotel in an area with the city’s highest occupancy rates, bringing in tourists and visitors who pump new money into the local economy. Despite structural challenges and the risk of building failure, we were able to restore the Jefferson Clinton Hotel to the architectural gem it was nearly 100 years ago. Our renovation preserved the building’s original architectural accents, including its distinctive marble-paneled lobby. The hotel is typically fully occupied, providing a home base in vibrant Armory Square for thousands of business people and visitors every year.
